Description
• Act as first point of contact for management of client work • Provide strategic counsel to development clients • Work with team to develop insight-based strategies • Advise on story angles to engage media • Build relationships with key media • Track media issues and recommend engagement • Develop engaging content such as press releases • Help coordinate events • Conduct research for new business proposals • Monitor communication activities • Contribute to daily meetings and liaise with clients • Manage and mentor junior staff
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in policy-focused or media-focused environment • Excellent writing skills in English (French desirable) • Degree in social science or arts preferred • Knowledge and enthusiasm for media and international affairs • Experience in global development or UN is an advantage • Experience in journalism, blogging and social media is an advantage
