• Actively nurture relationships with businesses in Africa • Champion Verto’s products, providing personalised payments solutions • Work with different parts of the business to provide creative solutions • Broaden Verto’s relationship network by identifying key decision makers • Drive Verto’s evolution by seeking market feedback • Lead and inspire a small team of dedicated Account Managers • Ensure consistent and transparent communication channels • Build a current and comprehensive profile of clients’ business • Develop personalised growth plans aligned with each client’s goals • Provide relevant market information to empower client decisions • Strengthen client engagement and showcase ongoing service value • Conduct quarterly reviews to assess performance and plan for future success
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification • 4+ years working in an Account Management or Sales role, B2B experience is a plus • Exceptional communication skills, evidenced by a track record of nurturing long-term client relationships • Proficiency in strategic account expansion, demonstrated through evidence of successful account growth initiatives • Ability to collaborate seamlessly across departments and efficiently manage priorities in a dynamic setting • Familiarity with CRM software is advantageous • To be driven to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, ever-changing start up environment, and can organise & prioritise your work independently • To be passionately committed to going above and beyond for your customers, pulling in whatever resources you need to deliver the best experience for them • Prior experience or interest in the cross-border payments industry is beneficial, though not mandatory
