Description
• Support HR in providing a comprehensive and effective HR service. • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution and grievance procedures. • Build relationships as a trusted advisor to managers. • Drive core people processes like parental leave and performance reviews. • Coach and provide advice to managers on people-related issues. • Work with the People and Reward Manager for consistent approaches. • Handle first and second level HR queries from employees. • Monitor absence and liaise with employees on sick leave. • Produce reports from the HR Management System. • Prepare correspondence on general HR matters. • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies. • Participate in continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
Requirements
• Proven experience of Advisor level work in a professional services environment. • CIPD level 5/degree in Human Resources Management or related field. • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices. • Solution-focused approach to conflict resolution. • Proficiency in HR management systems. • Proactive approach to employee engagement and wellbeing. • Proven ability to plan and implement projects. • Analytical skills to evaluate data and situations. • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills. • Ability to work with attention to detail at pace. • Experience in a fast-paced, professional services or legal organisation is desirable.
