Description
• Responsible for keeping teams organized and maintaining high levels of attention to detail • Take ownership of tasks and projects with your Account Manager • Prepare agendas and action notes for internal and client meetings • Draft written content including press releases, media pitches, and social media copy • Monitor news and flag relevant industry stories • Support media outreach and build media lists • Collect and distribute media coverage on a regular basis • Participate in brainstorms and planning for clients • Conduct online research using social media tools • Maintain client files and records in good order • Organize and research forward feature calendars and speaker opportunities
Requirements
• Proven basic public relations skills, notably writing and media relations for clients • Understanding different formats and how to write for different audiences • In-depth knowledge of the media, specifically national, trade, and online media • Ability to deal with day-to-day inquiries and establish relationships with journalists • Experience in producing a high standard of work at all times, paying attention to detail
