Description
• Ebury is a hyper-growth FinTech firm, named in 2021 as one of the top 15 European Fintechs. • Legal department provides advice on legal, regulatory and governance matters. • Looking for an enthusiastic dispute resolution lawyer to assist with contentious matters. • Provide high quality legal advice to key stakeholders in various countries. • Day-to-day responsibility for managing complaints and litigation matters.
Requirements
• A proactive mindset and an ability to communicate effectively in practical terms with stakeholders at all levels of the group. • At least 3 years of professional experience, either in private practice or in-house, practising as a qualified lawyer with commercial litigation experience. • UK commercial litigation experience, as well as a willingness to assist with disputes in other jurisdictions where appropriate. • Experience of advising financial services providers on contentious matters (with a working knowledge of relevant rules, common law principles and key financial services regulations). • Experience of employment-related disputes would also be helpful (but is not a prerequisite). • An ability in a fast paced environment to prioritise and manage a wide range of competing priorities (with support from other team members and external advisers where necessary).
