Description
• Provide legal, compliance and governance support. • Conduct legal research on various topics. • Prepare, review and amend agreements. • Organize and manage Board and Committee meetings. • Implement compliance plans and work on compliance manuals. • Participate in legal and compliance projects. • Manage policies and procedures and governance documents. • Handle applications and filings with regulatory bodies. • Draft resolutions and corporate legal documents.
Requirements
• Qualified lawyer. • Financial services background. • At least 5 years’ relevant legal, compliance and governance experience. • Experience working on international matters. • In-house experience at insurance company/other financial services firm preferred. • PRA/FCA experience; ACPR experience also useful preferred. • Familiarity with Diligent/other Board applications preferred. • Bright, proactive and analytical preferred. • Clear written and verbal communicator preferred. • Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred. • French language skills helpful preferred. • Able to travel (initially within UK and EEA).
