• Serve as legal support for corporate transactions, including securities offerings, financings, investments, acquisitions and divestitures and other strategic transactions, and provide oversight on executive compensation administration. • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of strategic agreements and commercial contracts that support and enable our business operations under tight deadlines. • Support our corporate governance activities, including managing our international corporate governance, international registration, and compliance processes. • Act as lead counsel for select overseas hubs. • Provide business-focused legal advice across the organization on commercial legal matters (marketing and content, for example) and important business initiatives, such as Picsart’s B2B focus. • Drive continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes, with an emphasis on efficiency and scalability. • Collaborate with other legal team members to share ideas, teach and learn from each other, and improve how we work.
• J.D. degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school; admitted to and member in good standing of a state bar, preferably New York or California. • 4-6 years of relevant experience at a top law firm, with previous in-house experience strongly preferred. • Experience with intellectual property licensing preferred. • Ability to multitask, problem solve, prioritize, think critically and exercise judgment. • Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and willingness to take ownership over projects and responsibilities and resolve issues proactively. • Ability to learn quickly and take on challenging new projects with enthusiasm. • Excellent commercial negotiation and drafting skills. • Fluency translating legal advice into actionable guidance for business teams. • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor.
