• We're looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will prospect and qualify potential customers for the Vimeo Sales team, building trust and rapport that result in qualified opportunities. • The Sales Development Representative is the first point of contact between prospective customers and Vimeo and will be responsible for generating and qualifying new prospects. • The ideal candidate has a keen eye for determining potential opportunities for new business, and can rapidly qualify, convert, and assign those conversations. • Long-term interest in a client-facing sales career. • Competitive spirit and the drive for results. • Exemplary problem-solving skills and the resourceful ability to take initiative. • Coachable and enjoys learning in a fast-paced sales environment. • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. • Building a point of view on how to help qualify customers needs. • Prospect for new business, researching companies and individuals that meet criteria for prospective partnership with Vimeo. • Develop ideal customer profiles for outbound prospecting and qualify prospects while leveraging BANT criteria. • Grow top of sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns. • Build new methods for attracting clients. • Schedule high quality meetings with prospective customers for the sales team. • Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize deal flow with outbound emails, calls, setting up meetings, etc. • Speaking to value and return on investment vs. technical functionality. • Learning how to anticipate and prepare for objections. • Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization. • Managing a high volume of inbound leads with a strategy on prioritization of your leads. • Researching and understanding various lines of business and personas. • Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize deal flow with outbound emails, calls, setting up meetings, etc.
• 2+ years’ of work experience. Preferably in market research, lead generation, marketing or sales, ideally within SaaS businesses. • Proven track record of success with a sales cycle. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have an outgoing personality and the ability to hold an engaging conversation or write an attention-grabbing email. • Identify customer needs and solve for gaps with creative outreach strategy & discovery including, but limited to: email copy, warm/cold calls, social media outreach, in-person events. • High level of resilience and ability to handle objection both over phone and email. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency. • Represent the company and our products with a high degree of professionalism. • A competitive nature and relentless drive to succeed. • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software, outreach, Chat tools, Zoominfo, SalesNav. • Fluent in French / Spanish and English.
