Description
• Partner with the cross functional team and provide a unique, food-first point of view for strategic partnerships to drive Ninja’s business at key retailers • Work closely with cross-functional teammates to bring to life the strategic vision and goals for the product portfolio • Serve as the primary point of contact to coordinate, develop and manage product demonstrations for key retailers, public relations events, etc. • Serve as culinary subject matter expert “on the ground” across all functional activities • Understand regional and local market, as well as unique regional needs. Develop and define product demonstrations that will resonate in each market. Be an advocate to articulate these product nuances to the broader team • Conduct competitor product testing to identify key differences in product specifications to support sales conversations, opportunities and innovation priorities • Select and/or develop recipes that highlight key selling features of the Ninja portfolio of products that will resonate with each market • Collaborate with EMEA/LATAM sales and marketing teams to create a library of product recipes and training materials for sales presentations • Regularly share product feedback with global teams to ensure real-time inputs are provided at every stage of product development from P-builds to MP • Cultivate a network of key experts to assist in demonstration needs across key markets • Update weekly priorities and keep track of projects • Ability to perform autonomously managing multiple tasks within established deadlines • Assist, attend and present at internal and external events, as needed • Monitor and research industry trends and innovations on an ongoing basis and brings new ideas to the team • Assist in the shipping of products when needed • Willingness to travel up to 25% • Other job duties as assigned
Requirements
• 3+ years of related culinology/culinary/food science experience or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company • Degree from an accredited Culinary Arts program, or Culinology or Food Science or Nutrition; Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Marketing or Communications; or combination of education and experience • Ability to effectively “manage up” by communicating your top priorities and constantly seeking feedback on your and your team’s work product • Exceptional culinary skills with a demonstrated passion for culinary innovation and creativity • Demonstrated knowledge of proper food safety processes • A mindset geared toward building relationships across multi-functional teams, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills • Highly-effective communication skills – both written (presentation/email) and in-person (ability to host succinct, effective conversations that solve problems and ability to make effective presentations to all levels of management, including SharkNinja’s executive leadership team) • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment • A desire to learn and grow in a passionate environment.
