Description
• Operations Analyst position in London office • Responsible for trade capture, matching/allocation, and reconciliation process • Liaise with execution desk and counterparties to resolve trade issues • Monitor, allocate, and confirm trades • Complete reconciliations across various financial instruments • Coordinate hedging of FX exposures • Manage local market settlements and corporate actions in African markets • Improve operational efficiency and controls
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics • 2-3 years' work experience in financial services • Knowledge of interest rate swaps/credit default swaps • Strong communication skills • Ability to use critical thinking to resolve issues • Experience with MarkitWire, Tradeserve, MTM, CTM, OTC Clearing • Knowledge of financial instruments like bonds, futures, foreign exchange, and derivatives • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel
