Description

• Business partnering for project research and overhead departments providing expert financial advice • Reviewing and approving project bids and supporting non-finance colleagues with costing queries • Completing client pricing templates • Preparing regular project financial reforecasts when necessary • Providing financial analysis to project research teams • Assisting with the financial forecasting and supporting yearly budget process • Updating project forecasts in finance accounting system • Uploading monthly Management information data to external partners • Completion of contract expenditure statements for grant clients • Supporting the development and implementation of best financial practices • Preparing and contributing to internal training on financial controls and procedures for non-finance colleagues • Assisting with monthly journals and month end processes • Dealing with requests for general data and any ad hoc duties.

Requirements

• Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience accounting finance team member • Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge • Experience in forecasting, budgeting and reporting • Ability to communicate financial information effectively with colleagues at all levels.
