Description

• Serve as the primary contact for all People questions and queries, providing confident and knowledgeable support. • Collaborate with line managers to anticipate and address organisational challenges. • Address employee concerns and grievances fairly and consistently. • Oversee performance reviews and assist managers in creating development plans. • Advise and assist managers in the consistent application of company policies and procedures in areas such as discipline, grievance, performance management, and absences. Keep managers informed about new legal requirements and best practices as needed. • Update Managers with new legal requirements and best practices as needed. • Ensure compliance with the legally required Right to Work documentation, including sponsorship visas. Monitor visa renewals. • Work closely with the Senior People Partner and relevant Senior Management team members to deliver organisational changes. • Support the People Apprentice in composing letters to employees outside contractual changes (i.e. disciplinary, absences, parental leave). • Manage the company's Recognition and Benefits programs. • Communicating and promoting regularly the benefits package to all employees. • Liaising with providers in respect of general and technical queries, including claims on behalf of employees. • Keeping up to date with market information and providing relevant information to Head of People. • Developing and organising our annual Wellness events to showcase our wellbeing programme each year. • Contribute to People projects and other cyclical audits and activities. • Create new policies and procedures as required and communicate them to the business accordingly. • Communicate on all People initiatives and calendar events. • Being the first point of contact for our EVC groups and reporting to the Senior management team regularly. • Deliver new managers training. • Discuss with Managers training budget and planning. • Support the Managers in sourcing content for courses/learning and /or procuring learning opportunities. • Lead Job Evaluation process. • Ensure amendments to employee contracts are agreed upon, documented, and updated in all databases. • Responsible for the reliability of our data on our HRIS at all times. • Looking to improve HR systems and processes, update process flows, etc. • Comply with all Data Protection legislation (GDPR).

Requirements

• Experience in HR practices, especially in employee relations management and performance management. • Relevant Degree in HR required or equivalent experience - CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards qualification) an advantage. • Understanding and Knowledge of UK laws is essential. • US exposure will be an advantage. • Ability to work collaboratively. • Excellent communication skills, ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholder. • Exceptional interpersonal skills, sound judgement and the ability to juggle many often-competing priorities simultaneously. • Able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly. • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, and trust/credibility with the demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organisation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions. • Detail oriented, organised with advanced project and process management skills. • Strong teaming, collaboration, and relationship skills. • Tech savvy.
