Description

• Responsible for new order booking for Fluence Digital business in the UK & Ireland region. • Manage proposals and lead overall proposal activities for customers' Requests for Proposal. Lead internal teams in understanding the customer RFP requirements, the competition, and responsible and leading the sales strategy to close and win these opportunities. • Responsible for contributing to sales strategy and execution. • Diligent and disciplined use of Salesforce to track and maintain sales pipeline. • This position will be home based in the United Kingdom and will report to the VP Fluence Digital Commerce EMEA.

Requirements

• Min 9+ years of direct sales experience, Renewable Energy Software Experience Desirable • Personable, engaging and motivated, driven to make a difference. • Able to push the customer’s thinking to quickly gain credibility and build a strong relationship based on adding value. • Able to use strong two-way communication skills along with a deep understanding of customers’ businesses to push their thinking and direct the selling conversations • Able to quickly gain creditability and build a strong relationship based on adding value. • Ability to actively listen, hear and understand what is said and not said, and comprehend the meaning and intent. • Ability to persuade and influence, using appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of thoughts, plans, activities, services and products. • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in business & management, or a related field • Strong track record of sales quota achievement and pipeline generation. • Business development skills as well as a strong understanding of how software deals are transacted
