Description
•We are looking for a dynamic new team member to oversee management of our key media and institutional partnerships. •A key part of this role will involve developing strategies to maximise on existing partnerships as well as create new media and amplifications partners with leading organisations. •The successful candidate will enjoy engaging with people over the telephone and ideally have some practical experience of phone acquisition and retention. •Excellent communications skills are required. An interest in sustainable investment and environmental governance would also be a major advantage. •You will work closely with conference producers, marketing and sales departments ensuring that the events are a success and the target audience is delivered. •This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience from working on a number of high-profile events attended by senior representatives of regional governments, UN agencies, international and regional NGOs, investors and donors, research institutes and solution providers.
Requirements
•At least 3 years experience in Partnership Acquisition and Management within the media, events or communications industry •Educated to degree level or studying towards it •Highly motivated with excellent written and verbal skills •Communication & organisation skills •Passion for sustainability (desirable but not essential) •Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and LinkedIn •Proficient CRM skills •Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment •Confident communications and influencing skills especially on the telephone •Self-starter that can work independently and as part of a team
