Description

• Acting as a point of contact for the business on matters relating to Compliance. • Monitoring the regulatory horizon for matters that will impact XTX. • Drafting and maintaining management information, internal briefings, processes, and procedures. • Exchange rulebook and new product reviews. • Regulatory reporting, including long and short position analysis and disclosures. • Assisting in the development and testing of position reporting processes. • Conducting and advising on sanctions screening. • Describing the firm’s Compliance Control Framework to external stakeholders. • Supporting the documentation and the build out of procedures for Operational Compliance. • Advising on and testing of XTX’s automated operational processes. • Supporting the global Compliance function in central Compliance processes. • Executing checks and reviews to ensure correct registration of XTX's Trading Analysts.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in a Compliance or control function within an exchange operator, bank, regulatory authority, electronic trading firm or hedge fund. • Calm, detail-oriented personality with excellent oral and written communication skills. • Good analytical skills to translate regulatory requirements into clear instructions. • Ability to explain regulatory requirements clearly in both written and verbal formats. • Ability to perform reviews of rulebooks and regulations to identify requirements. • Time management and workload prioritisation. • Advanced Excel skills. • SQL skills (desirable). • Hands-on experience of industry standard project management methods such as Prince2 or Agile (desirable). • Hands-on experience in position concentration reporting (desirable). • Experience in electronic trading compliance, including an understanding of algorithmic trading (desirable). • Previous experience with transaction/trade reporting regulatory regimes such as MiFIR, EMIR, Remit, CAT, MAS, etc. (desirable).
