Description

• The team is looking to recruit a Senior Account Executive to work with some of its leading global technology brands • The role involves working on media relations, network coordination and account management to reach primarily B2B audiences • Key responsibilities include: leading on day-to-day media liaison, developing solid media relationships and managing pro-active and reactive media requests • Developing press materials, from press releases and blogs, to Q&As and briefing documents, with a high level of attention to detail • Managing junior client relationships, developing a strong rapport with your day-to-day contact • Overseeing the creation of coverage and activity reports for clients • Managing press briefings, conferences and similar events for clients • Attending and contributing ideas in internal brainstorms • Monitoring and keeping abreast of relevant industry news in order to build an understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape and how they impact clients

Requirements

• A positive and proactive attitude to seeking out opportunities to add value to clients and teams • Ability to take ownership of tasks, working proactively and demonstrating initiative to support the wider team in driving projects forward • A fan of technology with an understanding of the technology market, who is excited by its future within society and business • A media hound and storyteller who loves to craft compelling pitches and knows how to sell them to business, trade and national media • Organisational skills and the ability to tightly manage relationships with international Burson offices • Attention to detail and an appreciation of time management
