Description

• Lead the development of pricing strategies for services, using market benchmarks to ensure profitability • Create pricing models for Sales, Tendering & Engineering teams • Provide analysis and support to demonstrate the effectiveness of pricing strategies • Review new client and supplier contracts to minimise financial and commercial risks • Assist in bid development through risk analysis and cost forecasting • Oversee negotiation and sign-off of high-value contracts to manage commercial and contractual risk • Evaluate and approve tenders as a member of the Tender Board • Lead resource planning to align with short and mid-term forecasts • Ensure project delivery is in line with expectations • Support the development of business plans and challenge senior leaders to deliver growth • Maximize operational effectiveness and compliance with all systems • Conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and support the achievement of budget targets • Develop a management information strategy and review month-end reporting for accuracy and insight

Requirements

• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail • Relevant education background and certification, qualified accountant is preferred but not essential • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in finance and accounting systems, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Thorough understanding of financial control processes and compliance • Ability to interpret and analyse multiple data sources to provide meaningful insights and recommendations
