Description

• Supporting large and small projects to support clients in tackling business issues. • Applying technical skills to devise compelling and well thought out solutions to complex problems. • Building constructive working relationships to develop internal and external networks. • Providing high quality and flexible modelling solutions for a diverse range of clients • Using existing and developing new modelling skills to support delivery, develop capabilities and share knowledge on solutions and best practice techniques. • A variety of modelling work including cost modelling, financial forecast and scenario modelling, transaction modelling, debt and project finance modelling • Developing tactical solutions that automate finance and other operations. • Development of data models to support modelling and analytics deliverables. • Using visualisation and analytical software to drive insights from data to inform client decisions. • Supporting the various teams within Interpath (Restructuring, Advisory, Deals) to exploit modelling and data capabilities.

Requirements

• A recognised finance or accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/CFA or similar) • A first-class or upper second-class degree in a numerate subject • Experience in the Business Intelligence/Data Analytics space. • University degree 2.1 or higher (or equivalent) in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics or equivalent. • Completion of a recognised financial modelling course • Consulting experience • Data visualisation experience in Power BI, QlikView or Tableau • Numerate & analytical with knowledge of data management • Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques (e.g. clustering) • Technically self-sufficient with a desire and ability to research and pick up new tools and techniques quickly. • Ability to visualise data effectively and communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
