Description

• Preparation of monthly management reporting packs for a portfolio of companies • Preparation of statutory financial statements and liaising with auditors • Assist with updating, improving and implementing procedures for the finance team • Liaising with external partners, including auditors and providers of debt finance • Support with controls compliance and other internal controls requirements. • VAT reporting • Maintain close relationships with customers (within Low Carbon and Third Party Asset Management) to ensure responsiveness to their needs, track service delivery and performance, and support escalation and resolution of any performance issues • Assist with the onboarding and management of new assets • Preparing commentary on variances (budget vs. actual vs forecast) • Apply technical accounting and regulatory knowledge to the preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements • Develop sound professional working relationships with colleagues across LCFS, the wider Low Carbon team and external customers, building their confidence and acquiring an understanding of the business.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) • Excellent Excel skills • Experience of management accounting and reporting within a demanding, high growth business • Experience working with an SPV structure within Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, or similar industry(desirable) • Experience working within finance operations or Record to Report (R2R), and / or experience of delivering a continuous improvement agenda
