Description
• We're looking for an enthusiastic senior accountant who has demonstrated the ability to deliver results in a high-growth, dynamic and fast-paced environment to join our UK finance team. This role will assist with the monthly financial close process for the UK location. This position will also play a key role in process documentation, improvement and integration, as well as rolling out ongoing finance process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
• Have 4 + years of experience working in either public accounting or within the corporate finance department of a multinational company • Possess the following characteristics: • team player • solid interpersonal skills, both written and oral • ability to adapt quickly to changes in a dynamic environment in terms of both organizational structure and process • capable of meeting tight deadlines • proactive and problem-solving attitude • Have a strong understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102. • Demonstrates strong excel skills using advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables. • have experience working on cross-functional teams in terms of implementing new systems and creating the related process documentation. • Are experienced in supporting external audits and preparing and explaining flux analysis for an entity that provides solid explanations for account variances.
