• Coordinate appointments for Step 2 Match Officials, including replacement Match Officials at short notice. • Support the Operations Manager and National Group Directors and National Group Managers with weekly appointment releases. • Manage pre and post administration tasks relating to weekly matchday schedules. • Share appointments to pre-season friendly fixtures. • Review Referee reports for rule breaches and escalate to relevant stakeholders. • Support the monthly expense process for National Group Referees, reviewing and approving expense claims. • Support with training preparation and onsite delivery for associated Match Official group. • Support the regular testing schedule of our Match Officials Administration System (MOAS) ensuring all areas of the site are functioning correctly. • Write letters and emails to Match Officials, Observers, Clubs and other stakeholders. • Support National Group Manager with high profile Step 2 appointments. • Update MOAS following the rearranged games in Step 2 competitions. • Engage with the PL, EFL and National League for Match Official related queries for Step 2 competitions. • Provide administrative support during the implementation and maintenance of new strategic initiatives and other ad-hoc projects. • Collaborate with peers on operational projects led by the Operations Manager. • Support the annual review and release of policies and procedures (on and off-field). • Support the operational lead up and onsite delivery of the annual PGMOL Conference(s). • Support the onsite delivery of VAR in domestic cup competitions. • Provide weekly reports to a range of departments and support outgoing communication to relative to the match officials / staff within the corresponding group(s). • Carrying out routine day to day administrative tasks for National Group Referees.
• Operations / administration experience and/or university graduate with a degree preferably in sports, business or administration. • Good MS Office skills including intermediate knowledge level of Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and good experience using IT and web-based systems. • An understanding of the English football pyramid. • The ability to focus on multiple projects, plan time effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy. • Strong organisational and administrative skills. • The ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. • High standard of numeracy and literacy and strong analytical capabilities. • Meticulous attention to detail and willingness to self-review. • The ability to focus on multiple projects, plan time effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy. • A confident communicator who has excellent social and communication skills and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships. • The ability to act with diplomacy and safeguard sensitive information.
