Description
• Provide complex accounting support for the INEOS Automotive global entities • Perform account reconciliations, supporting month and year end closing, and the review of actual accounting data • Support the Financial Accounting Manager on project and ad-hoc work • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports • Assist with monthly intercompany reconciliations • Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are performed and variances are investigated in a timely manner • Support with Group and local statutory audits • Support with the preparation of data for the annual corporate tax returns • Review accounting processes and practices to ensure efficient financial operations • Take on ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the Financial Accounting Manager
Requirements
• Accounting qualification (fully qualified AAT, part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA, or relevant degree) • Experience in financial accounting, including month end closing • Strong experience with SAP or similar ERP system • Good understanding of financial controls • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving • Ability to communicate clearly • Logical thinking and meticulous attention to detail • Self-motivated and able to prioritise multiple activities • Able to work in a busy team environment and adhere to strict deadlines • Automotive industry and/or Manufacturing experience is a strong advantage
