• Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of media-related matters including AdTech, content licensing, intellectual property, privacy and regulatory compliance. • Review and negotiate agreements with advertising and technology partners, content creators, production companies, talent, and other third parties. • Advising on consumer law, promotional/marketing campaigns, and programmatic advertising matters. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and executives to provide proactive legal guidance and risk management advice. • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in media and advertising law. • Mentoring and managing junior members of the team. • Manage external counsel and advising on media, IP and business specific disputes.
• Experience in technology, media and advertising law, preferably with experience in a media company or law firm specialising in media and technology related matters. • Strong understanding of AdTech, contract law, consumer affairs, content licensing and privacy regulations. • Innovative and pragmatic approach to sector specific matters. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and within a fast-paced environment. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Experience managing and mentoring junior legal staff.
