Description
• Establish and oversee day to day accounting functions and reporting requirements for CoMind • Support CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring • Manage purchase orders, invoice processing, and timely supplier payments • Support payroll process and tax & other returns • Evaluate, build, improve and monitor financial processes and practices for business growth
Requirements
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc) • Experience working in a startup, or similarly fast-paced environment • 5+ years professional accounting experience, including at least 2 years in an operational role • Experience of accounting procedures including Purchase Orders, customer and supplier invoices, bank payments, fixed and current asset schedules, VAT, payroll • Experience of month end close procedures and reporting, consolidations, FX, HMRC payroll and VAT reports, and internal and external audits • Familiarity with Xero, Dext and ApprovalMax or similar packages • Experience in managing outsourced finance function suppliers, e.g. bookkeeping, VAT.
