🔄 Hybrid – Nottingham
• Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer • Head of Commercial Operations will work closely with our international commercial departments • Responsible for assessing and rolling out best commercial practices across all territories • Provide means to report back commercial metrics to the CSO & EMT on a regular basis • Ensure best practice and operational excellence across all sales functions, territories and brands • Responsibility for sales planning, reporting, forecasting, sales process optimisation and harmonisation of sales compensation planning • Create and analyse sales KPI reports • Develop and drive the sales forecasting process • Work with the CSO to establish sales goals • Develop, implement and own sales policies, procedures and best practices • Communicate changes in policy, best practices or sales related procedures • Develop policies to ensure data integrity in CRM platforms • Work closely with the CRM Manager • Provide continuous training on Salesforce/general CRM best practice • Design and manage sales process-flows in Salesforce • Help coordinate and design sales incentive plans • Participation in management decision-making processes • Develop an international sales operations and reporting process • Complete ad hoc business analysis
• Strong focus and understanding of Sales activities in general - including but not limited to sales planning, reporting, forecasting, sales process optimisation and sales compensation planning • Ability to conduct sophisticated analysis of complex sales data and derive coherent deliverables • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, especially SalesForce, including experience of all aspects of the sales cycle and workflow generation • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Experience working with, supporting and leading a sales team, as well as the ability to present to executive management • Proven experience within commercial finance / sales support in a complex business-to-business environment • Technical understanding of online marketing and ecommerce in general • Results driven and target focussed • Ability to motivate and lead a team • Excellent commercial acumen
