Description
• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to lead our legal function as we scale rapidly. • This role is ideal for a strategic legal leader with exceptional expertise in corporate law, merger & acquisition, venture capital, regulatory compliance, and risk management. • Monitor the group’s legal and compliance requirements. • Provide legal support and advice on a wide range of issues, including deal-making, corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, employment law, tax, and data protection/GDPR.
Requirements
• Attorney-at-Law or 2nd State Exam (Germany) and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a reputable law firm, in-house legal department, or as a legal advisor in a venture capital or start-up environment. • A law degree from a top university with a strong academic record. • A deep understanding of corporate and commercial law, with a focus on venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property law. • Excellent legal writing and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice. Additional languages and negotiation skills are a plus. • Strong project management skills with a solution-oriented style of work and meticulous attention to detail. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high level of integrity, professionalism, adaptability and strong attention to detail and ability to work independently • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
