• The key role of the Partnerships Manager (Shopify) is to commercially and strategically own, manage and build partnerships that help merchants solve a variety of trading challenges thus driving referrals to our sales team. • The Partnerships Manager (Shopify) is responsible for building mutually beneficial, commercially founded relationships with partners. • They will work with partners to drive new inbound referred leads by partners to our new sales team, and to uncover partner opportunities in our existing sales teams, client success and wider business functions. • You will be expected to create, adapt and maintain a partner engagement strategy for your portfolio, procure lead/referrals, prioritise and support sales teams in hitting company targets including helping marketing generate valuable content supported by partners. • Managing existing business partner related enquiries, responding to and guiding merchants on getting the best from their tech stack to maximise growth is essential.
• Extensive experience in similar roles, with proven and demonstratable success levels • Wide network of connections across eCommerce • Experienced at self-generating opportunities, sales driven and able to anticipate people’s needs • A self-starting, organised individual, familiar with CRM system pipeline management • A good technical understanding of APIs with the ability to work with internal functions to form deal teams • History of driving joint co-selling and co-marketing activities • Strong sales skills with adaptive behaviours to influence outcomes • A natural relationship builder • Strong commercial and negotiation skills • Team player able to work well with a our partner team and wider sales organisation • Comfortable in working in a fast growing environment • Excellent natural communicator with strong networking and presentation skills.
