Description

• Overseeing Operations : Manage all aspects of daily operations, including the flow of goods in and out, with an average of 150 trailer and container movements per month. • Quality Assurance : Ensure the quality control of all materials handled, guaranteeing that finished products meet our customers' expectations. • Team Leadership : Lead a team of four direct reports, setting clear goals, providing support, and conducting regular performance reviews. • Health & Safety : Champion safety initiatives to maintain our ISO9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, ensuring a safe working environment for all. • Lean Manufacturing : Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize our processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. • Continuous Improvement : Drive a culture of continuous improvement, seeking innovative ways to enhance our production processes and team performance.

Requirements

• Experience in the Plastics Industry : A strong background in plastics recycling is essential. • Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to achieve high performance. • Operational Expertise : Hands-on experience in managing production in a fast-paced environment. • Safety Focus : A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, ideally with IOSH or other relevant certifications. • Strong Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers. • Problem-Solving Ability : Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify and solve problems efficiently.
