• Produce, edit, shoot, or animate original shows that are designed to work on YouTube. • Work closely with the senior producer/showrunner to set the direction of the show, contributing to conversations around development, episode ideas, and technical aspects of production. • Pitch episode ideas and constantly push to improve the quality of the show. • Take an analytical approach to show performance, using data to understand which parts of the show are working and which aren’t.
• Experience producing, editing, or shooting long-form videos. • A deep curiosity about YouTube as a platform. • A world-class story sense and ability to assess pitches. • An ability to clearly communicate and give detailed, specific feedback. • A lack of fear of failure and a willingness to pivot when an idea doesn’t work out as planned. • A deep understanding of the principles of good journalism.
