• Develop new strategies to further scale performance marketing spend across multiple channels while maintaining efficiency • Implement and continue to refine a comprehensive framework for evaluating performance marketing spend with a focus on optimizing LTV/CAC • Continue to improve our paid search efforts with Google and effectively expand paid search efforts to social channels. • Unlock and scale paid social and other underfunded paid performance channels. • Drive the development of end to end marketing and digital acquisition strategies. • Analyze, track, report and forecast on key performance metrics, identifying areas of opportunity for program performance across all online acquisition channels to support company’s growth targets and drive future strategies • Manage, optimize, innovate and expand programs for all performance marketing channels through a test-and-learn approach to maximize cost-effective customer acquisition • Partner effectively with Viator’s Vice President of Brand and Communications to drive a cohesive marketing strategy for the business • Serve as a critical thought partner to the Viator Executive team and other senior leaders on adapting our performance marketing strategies as our business continues to evolve • Collaborate with business partners to identify efficiencies and improve effectiveness in our acquisition channels through innovations in strategy, targeting, delivery, process, and new capabilities. • Maintain and expand relationships with key partners including Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Bing, among others. • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and outside-in thinking on best and evolving practices, and ensure the team is constantly at the edge of the newest high potential opportunities or ways of working • Apply critical thinking skills to identify and size new acquisition opportunities and make new recommendations to drive business growth.
• Key attributes for the role include being a team builder, inspiring leader, and possessing a high level of collaboration and engagement management skills • The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of marketing and business experience, with at least 10 years in performance-based marketing, specifically SEM and a proven track record of leading effective teams • Track record of scaling multiple marketing channels and diversifying channel mix • Strong analytical skills, the ability to manage substantial budgets, and a disciplined approach to measuring marketing ROI are essential • The role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, experienced in working with product and engineering teams, and adept at managing multiple projects with a sense of urgency • A commitment to delivering positive ROI programs and a creative, innovative approach to marketing are also key attributes sought • Strong communication skills at all levels- creating productive dialogue to reach optimal solutions and driving awareness and alignment with key stakeholders and partners. • Strong leadership presence to discuss strategy roadmap as part of Viator overall strategy • Deep understanding of the multiple tenets of customer acquisition costs. Can speak to broader business and financial implications and planning of customer acquisition costs vs lifetime value per customer ratio • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams remotely and working successfully cross-functionality.
