• To provide operational support, particularly for the Managed Portfolio Service • Assisting in the oversight of the Managed Portfolio Service to ensure accuracy and consistency and appropriate record keeping • Developing relationships with and knowledge of investment platform providers • Storage and updating of platform knowledge including detailed ‘how-to’ guides and differences between platforms • Managing access to platforms for internal staff and monitoring password security and login issues • Knowledge and understanding of our internal Portfolio Management System and assisting in the development of efficiencies through this system • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory aspects of dealing in relation to platforms including ensuring platforms are reporting to investors/clients in regard to regulatory responsibilities • Ensuring investors have access to the most preferential terms available for funds via platforms • Portfolio Management System administration including AUM approval, on-going maintenance of SAA records, mapping of funds, maintenance of mandate tolerances • Responsibility for creating new client portfolios on platforms • Permission of clients to Square Mile mandate portfolios e.g. Sustainable and Impact. • Execution of scheduled periodical rebalances • Monitoring of AUM thresholds for MPS clients • Checking of market update reports and factsheets • To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required • Adhere to consumer duty
• 1+ years experience in a similar role, ideally working at or with a DFM • Experience in working on investment platforms • Working knowledge of funds and share classes • Experience working with advisers is highly desirable • Key communication skill and working with external provider and cross functional teams
