• As a member of the Finance Department, this role will work with key internal stakeholders across the organisation to provide rigorous financial challenge and guidance to optimise the performance of our organisation. • This role is responsible for analysing, reporting, and driving various corporate development activities (including acquisitions, mergers, partnerships and joint ventures) from a financial performance perspective, as well as driving improvements in reporting processes and quality and scope of management information relating to these transactions.
• Business partner to Corporate Development Director • Build bigger relationships with key business • Assist in shaping and driving transactions from initial engagement, due diligence, deal negotiation through to execution and post completion integration, planning and performance. • Create and present regular management information to support and influence decision making of sales leadership across all regions • Actively collaborate and lead colleagues to contribute to the development and delivery of strategic and operational plans • Manage and motivate analysts within the team to develop and deliver • Drive growth and profitability by providing breakthrough insights to all relevant business partners • Produce profitability and investment analysis to support decision making, target setting and budgeting • Identify, innovate, and implement improvements to management reporting • Support identified area of the business with month end procedures, queries, spend analysis, internal processes, and investment appraisal • Analysing business plan and investment cases for acquisitions and collaborations, including producing commercial models for these transactions. • Project management and leading deal negotiations from a finance perspective • Due diligence and integration planning. • Assist in ad hoc projects • Undertake such other duties as maybe required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of the The Instant Group
