• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers • Coordinate with QA manager and manage QA team activities • Define and enforce quality standards, best practices, and guidelines • Representing the QA Test teams at project meetings • Developing test strategies and appropriate test documentation • Lead the creation and maintenance of coding standards for testing • Keep pushing the automation framework forward to ensure efficiency • Assist QA Manager with recruitment and resourcing • Assist QA Manager with inductions, training, and performance reviews
• Strong understanding of manual testing processes and methodologies • Good understanding of test automation and automation tools • Experience and understanding of leading across the whole software development life cycle • Ability to communicate effectively with team members • Good hands-on experience in functional testing, UI testing, and non-functional testing • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Experience working within an Agile team • Proven track record of requirements analysis and documentation • Working knowledge of accessibility testing • Experience of test automation with a solid understanding of frameworks and best practices • Good knowledge of CI/CD, build pipelines and tools • Software testing certification or qualification
