Description
• Motivated and detail-oriented Tax Generalist to assist with compliance in UK, US, and European tax laws. • Assist in ensuring compliance with tax-related functions within the company.
Requirements
• Assist in ensuring compliance with US and UK tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, staying updated on any changes that may impact our organisation. • Help prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns, reports, and filings, including but not limited to: 1042-S and 1042, ISA reporting (ISAComm100, ISA14a, ISA10, ISA14), Swedish KU reporting (optional) • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance and legal departments, to support the implementation of the correct tax strategy for our product offerings. • Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to tax matters, including FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act), CRS (Common Reporting Standard), the QI agreement, and ISA Manager regulations. • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including data, legal, customer services, and operations, to gather relevant tax information and facilitate accurate tax reporting. • Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities as necessary. • Continuously evaluate and improve tax-related processes, workflows, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. • Stay updated on tax developments and share knowledge with relevant stakeholders. • Provide support to internal departments, including customer service, transfer, corporate actions and complaints regarding tax queries raised by our customers.
