Description
• Preparation of journal entries, invoices and bill payments and maintaining updated financial records. • Reconciliation of bank balances. • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns. • Assistance with the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting workings. • Assistance with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results analysis and commentaries production. • Assistance with the preparation of periodic regulatory reports. • Assistance with the preparation of audit deliverables, financial statements, and Board packs. • Assistance with financial projections. • Assistance with improving and standardizing processes and workflows. • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance function and general accounting Contribute towards ad-hoc projects to support the finance function.
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years' relevant working experience is a requirement. (if gained in a reputable accounting or audit firm this would be considered an asset.) • Conversant with IFRS accounting principles coupled with experience in financial reporting. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong practical experience in Excel. • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal. • Able to work diligently and on own initiative with minimal supervision. • Ability to learn quickly and has a proven history in problem analysis. • Be based in the UK and be flexible to work from our office in London at minimum once every fortnight.
