• Deliver tech with purpose to create safe online environments for children • Support our test automation, DevOps process, and development projects • Work closely with the developers to test new features and assist in rolling these out into production • Maintain a bespoke Linux-based distribution comprising of key components such as: firewall, web-content filter, authentication
• A curious mind that seeks continuous learning and development • Empathy for our end-users • Confident navigating and using the linux command line environment while working on Linux based technologies • Use of virtual software to drive component creation (including, but not limited to): Vagrant VirtualBox Docker • Experience Networking (for the creation of services and to setup communication between them): TCP/IP, UDP VLANs • Good skills and experience in scripting languages such as Shell, Python etc. • Great experience working within an agile development process • Ideally have some experience with non-functional testing specifically performance testing hardware
