• Undertake the specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and implementation of therapy interventions of clients with complex physical disabilities as an autonomous practitioner. • Carry out high level clinical decision making within agreed response times, to support A&E four hour targets. • Analyse and clinically reason the risk assessment required for the physical moving and handling of complex, dependent patients to further their rehabilitation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist. • Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within mental health settings. • Sound knowledge of mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
