Description
• Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to accounts payable transactions • Review and verify invoices and check requests • Sort, code and match invoices & set invoices up for payment • Enter and upload invoices into system • Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records • Reconcile accounts payable transactions • Prepare analysis of accounts • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues • Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors regarding possible inquiries • Produce monthly reports • Assist with month-end closing • Provide supporting documentation for audits
Requirements
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and general accounting procedures • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records • Knowledge of relevant accounting software • Proficient in data entry and management • 1-2 years accounts payable or general accounting experience • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Experience processing high volumes of transactions and invoices, ideally in multiple currencies • Experience of dealing with multi-site/departmental reporting • Experience of Month End procedures • Strong research, writing, and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable working environment • Exceptional organisational skills • Desire to travel and see the world • Ability to work independently and manage your own projects • A passion for innovation and the financial technology sector • Strong interpersonal skills • Project management skills and proven ability to manage own workload
