Description
• Development of new models and approaches to identify and stop crime from happening on the platform. • Accountability for reducing the amount of financial crime on Monzo. This is a board-level metric that is key to the success of our business. • Collaboration across the company (ranging from Business Banking to Operations) to enable new business opportunities without creating additional Financial Crime risks. • Establishing a strategic outlook on the FinCrime landscape and an innovative roadmap to develop industry leading solutions. • Working to develop and launch new ML models to detect suspicious accounts or transactions • Collaborating with Data or Risk teams to understand emerging attack vectors • Engaging cross functional stakeholders across the business to understand how we can enable safe growth.
Requirements
• You want to apply product skills to solve a meaningful business problem that involves technical and social challenges. • You have experience in a scale-up environment where things move quickly and you can balance commercial and technical skills. • Experience with adversarial, fast paced problem spaces is a plus. For example, experience with content moderation or advertising fraud might prepare you well for this type of work.
