Description

• You will own the designs for Intercom Messenger, which is used by millions of people daily. • Help rethink it for a world where AI agents will facilitate majority of customer support interactions. • Act as a leader within the Product Design team, collaborating with other designers to raise the quality bar. • Work through design problems from beginning to end, translating insights from research and analytics into concepts that form new products and features. • Sketch and prototype ideas to quickly assess their viability, and design the high-quality interactions and visual details. • Partner with product managers to define and evolve product roadmaps. • Work closely with engineers as you build, iterate on, and ship high-quality implementation.

Requirements

• Passion for the entire product development process, from problem solving and system modelling, through to UX, visual, and interaction design. • Experience designing excellent software products in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to solve complex interaction design challenges and excellent visual design skills. • Strong communication skills to help people across the company understand the rationale behind your proposals, and the complex nuances of design problems. • Motivated self-starter who can deeply collaborate with other disciplines including product management, engineering, research, and analytics. • A growth mindset, proactivity and curiosity. • For more information, see what we look for when we hire designers. • Looking for mid or staff designer opportunities?
