Description

• Lead member of the engineering team for inspection and maintenance of assets in critical facilities • Ensure safety, professionalism, and quality in service delivery • Conduct site meetings and drive a Safety-First culture • Operate systems efficiently and prepare for specialist vendor work • Ensure compliance with service level agreements and audit completed work orders • Oversee critical spare parts and procurement • Report on engineering risks and maintain operational standards • Participate in training and development processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Critical Environments such as Corporate Banking/Data Centres or Similar • LV Authorised Person (Experienced with LV Systems) • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND (Successfully completed apprenticeship in either) • C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds • 17th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training) • IOSH Working Safely (Or NEBOSH equivalent) • IPAF (Combined) • L8 Awareness Training • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff/management/customers • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a small team of engineers • Enthusiasm and Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation • Have good IT and report writing skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints • Individuals who can demonstrate commitment and previous experience; but not meet all the required technical qualifications may be considered subject to Operations Directors approval • Demonstrate a willingness to attend on and off-site training, this may require nights away from home due to the nature of the specialist training such as Authorised Person Training • A high level of initiative, with drive to continuously improve the operation • A smart presentable professional appearance • Ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions • Integrity, honesty and punctuality is also expected • Collaborative Team Player, who works effectively to achieve common goals.
