Description

• Step into a key role as an Accounting Manager, where you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, overseeing quarterly reporting for our high-profile U.S. parent company on the NYSE • You'll lead the charge in managing consolidations, supporting comprehensive review and audit processes, and ensuring top-notch SOX controls • Your expertise in U.S. GAAP and external reporting within a listed company environment will be highly valued as you navigate the complexities of our financial landscape • Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate in our Edinburgh office just two days a week while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, and a working technical knowledge of both U.S. GAAP • Practical experience of group consolidations, including multi-currency considerations • Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with at least 5 years’ PQE • Experience with U.S. listed company is preferred • SOX experience is preferred • Big 4 experience is preferred • Experience in managing the requirements of a year-end audit process • Ability to meet demanding deadlines, often with competing priorities, and adaptability to business needs • Interest in process improvement and implementation of change • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word • Knowledge of Netsuite (beneficial but not essential) • A strong sense and awareness of control and attention to detail, balanced with an ability to see the bigger picture • Must be extremely diligent, reliable and self-motivated in nature • Excellent time management, planning and co-ordination skills are essential • Possess strong analytical skills • Excellent communication skills
