Description

• Legal entity controller for joint venture entities or holding entities within the Group • Preparation of internal and external financial reporting deliverables • Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and review • Supporting the collation of audit evidence for yearend audit • Liaising with and key role in working with external auditors on audit queries • Key finance contact for payroll • Oversight and review of submissions from external third-party accounting providers • Taking a key role in the preparation of annual statutory accounts • Supporting tax team on extended trial balance requests for foreign jurisdictions • Supporting the Group Financial Controller in identify, design and implementing control and process improvements including new technology and automation • Active role in supporting the Group Finance team in driving various finance transformation projects • Reviewing journals processed by junior members in the team • Processing complex journals

Requirements

• Qualified accountant CIMA, ACA or ACCA • At least 3 years of post-qualified experience, and a track record of assuming responsibility for activities • IFRS reporting knowledge highly desirable • Experience working in fast paced environment • Ability to deal with large and/or complex volumes of data • Drive to get tasks done by immovable deadlines whilst not losing attention to detail • Ability to work alone and as part of a team • Ability to influence and guide more junior team members • Effective communication both orally and in writing • Proficiency in MS Office applications • Knowledge of other systems and data manipulation tools an advantage
