Description

• Model Development and Automation: Designing, building, and implementing models that automate the process of data analysis or decision-making • Expert Data Warehousing: Demonstrating expert proficiency in managing and manipulating large datasets within a data warehouse environment • Data Analysis and Visualization: Analysing complex data sets and presenting the findings in a clear and actionable format for senior management using Power BI tools • Monitoring and Testing: Conducting tests to evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of the models • Strategic Problem Solving, and Commercial Acumen: Employ data-driven insights to deliver strategic recommendations by analyzing large datasets to uncover patterns, predict trends, and understand market dynamics

Requirements

• Advanced Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field • Prior experience in supply chain background, preferably within the e-commerce fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector • Experience working in a rapidly growing start-up environment and previous experience leading small teams • Familiarity with Cloud platform, GCP • Expertise in setting up and analysing A/B testing • Deep expertise in data warehouse technologies such as BigQuery, or similar platforms • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data manipulation languages • Knowledge of and understanding Data ETL Process • Expertise in PowerBi visualisation and/or similar business intelligence tools • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale data projects in a dynamic marketplace setting • Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex data to diverse audiences, including senior management • Technical and non-technical reporting to management • Proven analytical skills with an ability to think critically, solve problems creatively, and make data-driven decisions
