Description

• The Underwriting Data Analyst will play a key role assisting the Credit Underwriting team with shaping, creating and improving existing and new processes, monitoring and automation based on credit data and underwriting insights. • Helping to facilitate change in underwriting strategy to improve processes and efficiency • Monitoring the UK and US portfolios • Facilitating Risk initiatives and pilots by using credit data insights allowing for improved accuracy of decisions within company appetite • Manage and mentor the wider team to assist in their understanding of automations and new processes • Interacting with other internal teams to review all enquiries and provide credit insight and knowledge • Assisting in internal reviews and external audits • Staying up to date on industry trends and supporting new analytics initiatives that support and contribute to business goals

Requirements

• Experience in credit and data analytics • Ability to tell insightful and compelling stories with data • Driven and dedicated - willing to operate in a fast-moving environment, taking personal accountability for initiating and driving meaningful change • Smaller company/fintech and US market experience is a major plus
