Description
• Undertaking the first review of the tax computations produced by the tax associates using Alphatax • Preparation/submission/review R&D tax credit claim • Researching, analysing and interpreting changing tax legislation • Providing training and support to tax juniors • Proactively assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Managers and above • Assisting in the management and delivering of large projects
Requirements
• Good communication skills, written and oral • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills • Excellent Microsoft office skills in particular Excel • A commitment to team working and delivering great client service • Good project management and self-organizational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks • Resilient and able to work to deadlines • 2:2 or above from a degree in any discipline • 112 UCAS points from three A-Levels (or equivalent) • The right to work in the UK • Experience of having worked in corporate tax either in house or within a consultancy practice, minimum 3 years • Newly qualified or studying towards professional qualification ACCA/CTA
