• The Project Developer role is integral to the success of Field’s UK pipeline of battery energy storage system projects. • You will work across our development portfolio working on projects from greenfield development right through to handover to construction. • The role will have a strong consenting focus, however you will work closely alongside the grid, land and design teams to gain an oversight of all areas of project development.
• Experience, or an eagerness to learn, in any of these areas is required. • Experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and an associated knowledge of grid connections and BESS design is also highly desirable. • Highly experienced in planning applications and environmental assessments • Ability to work autonomously to deliver some key elements of a planning application e.g. heritage assessment, including management of external consultants • Procurement of consultancy services, including non-intrusive survey work. Knowledge of method statements and safe working practices to instruct and oversee survey works • Experience of post-consent phase, including planning amendments and discharge of conditions • Experience with key planning stakeholders; ability to represent Field in stakeholder meetings on planning matters • Experience of local community engagement; ability to deliver and attend consultation events • Basic knowledge of BESS design; capable of identifying all BESS components and a basic understanding of electrical design • Understanding of relevant safety requirements e.g. fire regulations • Can apply knowledge to review designs and work with design team to ensure safe, constructable and operable designs • Basic knowledge of necessary land agreements required for development and accompanying knowledge of redline terms for agreements. • Can apply knowledge of design and construction requirements to review land plans
