Description

• Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks. • Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems • Oversee the company’s finance IT systems. • Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance services providers. • Oversee audit readiness preparation and internal control operations, preparing for 2025 audit. • Support the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors (we are planning to raise further funding in 2025). • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to the CEO • Ensure adherence to local GAP across multiple regions. The company operates a UK Topco with a US subsidiary. Our customers are in multiple US states and EU countries. • Managing relationships with our accountants. • Managing the option pool and tax risk. • Ensuring HR Compliance across the UK and US teams • Ensure People and Operational processes support Continuum’s growth from 60 to 100+ employees, ensuring efficiency and consistency across the company. • Lead and manage the Business Operations Associate • Be the subject matter expert for your function and an active member of the Leadership team

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role • Experience working with, and influencing Co-Founders and Senior Leadership on complex strategy and initiatives. • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting • Proficient in the use of financial management software (e.g. Xero) • Bias towards action and the ability to execute in a fast-moving, startup environment • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. • Ability to build authentic, trusting relationships with key internal stakeholders
