• An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Sponsorship Sales Manager to join the Confex Division working on an exciting launch product, the Emission Tech Connect Exhibition (ETC) • Emission Tech Connect (ETC) stands out as the foremost global event dedicated to emission technology in legacy hydrocarbon and hard-to-abate sectors • The role is primarily to sell multiple sponsorship and brand activations at ETC. This will involve the acquisition of entirely new business, and you will be responsible for the generating of revenue from these new clients. You will need great negotiation skills and will be expected to build strong client relationships, actively managing the complete Sponsorship process • Join us in exploring scalable initiatives aimed at reducing emissions in carbon-intensive industries, particularly the formidable challenges presented by hard-to-abate sectors. • Previous work in sponsorship and exhibition Sponsorship/and/or account management-based Sponsorship • Excels in face-to-face selling, presenting products and their benefits to clients • Confident in generating new business leads from cold calling, personal research, and industry networking. • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner • Fluent in both written and spoken English • Highly motivated, ambitious, and constantly striving for excellence and success • Customer focused and understands how to build and maintain relationships (both for account management and up-selling purposes) • Self-motivation/drive with a work-ethic based on never giving up • Results oriented • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness • Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office • A deep understanding of content development strategies. This knowledge is crucial for effectively planning and executing an emission technology expo (earning the right to operate in this space) • Proven expertise in planning, organizing, and managing events, particularly expos or conferences. This includes knowledge of floor-planning, logistical coordination, vendor management, and the ability to create seamless and engaging event experiences. • Knowledge or willingness to learn about relevant industry regulations and compliance standards related to emission technology • A solid understanding of marketing strategies. This includes knowledge of digital and traditional marketing channels, audience segmentation, and the ability to create effective marketing campaigns to attract exhibitors and attendees • Strong networking skills and an ability to quickly create a network of industry contacts within the emission technology sector. The ability to leverage these relationships to secure partnerships, sponsors, and high-profile speakers will contribute to the overall success of the expo
