• Lead the budget and forecasting process of retail sales to net sales, working closely with commercial teams and demand planning for inputs • Work closely with the Retail teams to forecast retail staffing costs for doors within the UKPP region • Deliver month end actuals for both revenue, retail Staffing and operational costs, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This will involve working closely with the newly created shared services function (SSC) reviewing all postings to ensure accuracy • Prepare month-end commentary and analysis for actuals vs budget/forecast for revenue to gross margin, retail staffing, and costs • Create, identify, and communicate risks and opportunities to forecast, and maintain a schedule for working with and challenging teams on finding optimum levels for efficient use of resources • Preparation of weekly sell-in sell-out (SISO) reports, actively participating in weekly SISO meetings to understand, challenge and identify monthly sales performance for the UKPP region • Actively contribute to the development of new business opportunities through business case process • Support on post-investment appraisals and ROI’s for commercial initiatives approved via the business casing process to evaluate impact • Ad hoc analysis to support the Senior Finance Manager UKPP
• Qualified (or approaching qualification) – CIMA, ACCA, ACA with proven experience, ideally in an industry role • Knowledge of UK accounting standards is essential • Management of month-end processes experience essential • Management of FP&A processes experience essential • Commercial and analytical mindset • Advanced excel skills (XLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Sum If, Indirect etc.) and the ability to excel build models from scratch • Good interpersonal and communication skills, having the confidence to communicate clearly with senior management and challenge commercial teams • Flexible and proactive; able to drive improvements through to completion and thrive in a fast-paced environment • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude • Ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven
